PAD HEAD FOR FLOOR JOISTS

Flatness of the substrate must allow a stable and reliable installation of SOPREMA adjustable pads. Support under the wooden decking should not make an area of water retention.

PAD HEAD FOR FLOOR JOISTS is fitted in the 4 fins of SOPREMA adjustable pads. There should be pads density as center distance between them does not exceed 60 cm in any directions. Joists (width: 45 mm), in compliance with DTU standard 51.4, are fastened by using stainless steel screws in the slotted holes of pads head. This fastener is not anchor justifying wind uplift forces, but a joining with pads head to avoid lateral sliding. Deck boards (characteristics, size, installation) must comply with standard NF DTU 51.4 requirements.
